Now that she is good and stable sitting up, we have moved her to the duck tub. She loves it. She also loves the letter R:)

Martin Luther King Program
On Friday the 18th Jenna made her theatrical debut in the Kindergarten program about Martin Luther King. She did a great job and really enjoys watching herself on the video camera.
After the program the principal mentioned that she was so impressed with their performance that she wanted them to do the program for the rest of the school the following week. Jenna was a bit nervous with all the big kids watching, but came home just thrilled that the 4th and 5th graders were clapping for her!

Knock Knock...who's there? Surprise....It's Grandy!
Let me set the stage. It's Friday night, the girls are fed we are watching a little TV ..there's a knock at the door. Weird. We don't really know our neighbors, people don't just stop by and it is too late for salesmen. So off I go to answer the door swearing at Jed the entire way because he won't go answer it and I am wondering who I am about to see as I answer the door in my pajama pants. I open the door to find that Grandy had flown to Texas to spend the weekend with us! Jed was in on the little trick , but the girls and I were very surprised and excited.
All three girls enjoyed their time with Grandy. Here a couple pics of Landrie laughing and smiling and even getting a little cozy with Grandy.Happy girl...smiling at Grandy.
After a nice warm bottle Landrie is very relaxed enjoying her last night with Grandy until her next visit.
Thanks for the great surprise mom, and thanks Jed and Jamie for making it work!

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
Someone has mastered the roll! It is becoming very common to lay Landrie down on a blanket only to find her a few minutes later as far off the blanket as she can get. I can only imagine what she is saying to herself as I snapped the picture....."Seriously....you see me laying on the hard floor and you go get your camera....thanks a lot!"
Landrie only rolls to her right so I got smart and put her blanket against her jumper.....Yes, I can still outsmart her!
I love this picture. Lounging in what we call her cozy blue leisure suit! Such a happy girl!

All Dolled Up
It was just about bath time when the question was asked...."Can we play make-up?" After Jed and I instinctively snapped "no!" we began to think....bathtime was coming up....we were not going anywhere...why not.
After making a mess of the kitchen table they somehow got their hands on the camera. Out of the 12 they took, these were the only two with their entire heads in the picture.
Good times.....Now the make-up has been put away not to return for a while. Maybe next time Aunt Jamie comes to stay!
