Last week while Grandy was here we thought we would take her to the horse races and try our luck. We had a great time...won a little, lost a little and really enjoyed the beautiful night.(Notice all the empty seats around us. Kids are great for keeping the crowds away)

No winners for the first 4 races or so, but then on race number 5 is where it got fun. We picked horse 8 to win and he did! $66.00 later we were cheering like we won the lottery...$22.00 a peice not bad. Enough for a couple of hot dogs. Did I mention that we happend to go on dollar dog night? What luck!

I have NEVER been to a horse race. What's Jenna doing next week? I'm thinking maybe her and I can go and have a little fun plus I need the horse expert who can pick the winners. All I know is if were talking about winning $66.00 THAT'S BIG MONEY!! Looks like a GREAT time!!
