It was a big night last Friday at the Eisel's...watching Miss USA 2008. The girls and I were rooting for our two favorites, Texas and Minnesota. You have to have allegiance to your homestate and your homestate. Sidenote--Katie fell asleep about 25 minutes into the show...Minnesota and Texas made the Top 15, but then Minnesota failed to make the
top 10 as a result of a lackluster performance in swimsuit. All of our attention moved to Miss Texas USA who went on and on and on, and brought home the crown once again.
Jenna and Kylie were very excited, especially Jenna who jumped up about 3 feet into the air and screamed!! Go TEXAS! Texas sure knows how to grow em':)

Jed I think I just vomitted in my mouth. I wasn't able to catch it but I am sure you had five to ten vcr's recording each and every move of the pagent. I was just wondering if you have had a chance to break it down and write a hundred page report on how you can make it better. I am almost positive that you have already mastered the dancing moves of the opening number. I bet that while you are reading this email you still have your crown and sash on. I know the crown and sash are like a sports jersey or a hat to a NORMAL sporting fan.
I guess I know what we are going to be doing when we come visit in June.

Ryan---seriously, get over it. You're just mad that your little Washington apple didn't get anywhere in the big show.
I do have a job and three children to raise so haven't been mastering any dance moves.
I would call myself a well rounded fan, and I am still in mourning with Brett's departure...and you know I don't see a football or hockey future for any of the girls so I will support them in their quest for the crown...if that's what they choose!!!
There will be no encore showing for YOU in June, so get that out of your head.
GO Texas.
