A Visit From Grandy

With permission from Aunt Jamie, Grandy came with gifts. You can see the girls wearing them in this picture. They are the Koala backpacks from when Jamie and I were little. They wore them on a bike ride and pretty much everywhere else we went.
What beautiful weather for a couple nice walks.
We ended her visit with a birthday celebration for Jenna. Thanks again mom for a great visit.

All Smiles in Texas!

Landrie showing off her two teeth.
I love this picture of Jenna and Kylie. Just ignore the mess you see in the background.

Kylie took her gift card from Auntie Lisa and Uncle Rick and got herself this bouncing ball at Target. At this point it is the coolest thing she owns. She bounces everywhere. Bounces through the house to go brush her teeth. In this picture she is bouncing outside in her jammies after he bath while daddy finished up so yard work. No she didn't bounce into the pool.

Texas wins AGAIN!

It was a big night last Friday at the Eisel's...watching Miss USA 2008. The girls and I were rooting for our two favorites, Texas and Minnesota. You have to have allegiance to your homestate and your homestate. Sidenote--Katie fell asleep about 25 minutes into the show...
Minnesota and Texas made the Top 15, but then Minnesota failed to make the
top 10 as a result of a lackluster performance in swimsuit. All of our attention moved to Miss Texas USA who went on and on and on, and brought home the crown once again.
Jenna and Kylie were very excited, especially Jenna who jumped up about 3 feet into the air and screamed!! Go TEXAS! Texas sure knows how to grow em':)

Toothless Jenna

Jenna lost her second front tooth today at school. Here she is showing off her toothless grin. I hope the tooth fairy does not let us down. Someone has been telling us that she really pays up for those front teeth. :)

Happy Birthday Kylie!!!!

Yesterday was Kylies 4th birthday! She had a great day that included taking Little Mermaid cupcakes to school for a little party with her friends. We are planning a May party when the pool water will be a little warmer so we can swim.

Here are a couple pictures of the birthday gift from Grandy. I think she called it a doll house..??......maybe for giant dolls. We think it is more like a condo.
You can see that it will probably be more of an outdoor toy. Should be nice this summer. Thanks Grandy! Can't wait to see you next week.

The Japanese Macaque and other random pics.

This picture is from Jennas open hose last week. In her GT class they have been studying about Japan and Cuba. For their project they had to choose an animal from one of those places. Jenna chose the Japanese Macaque. a.k.a. snow monkey. She was given the option of doing a poster or a shadowbox about her animal, but she told her teacher that she didn't want to do either, she wanted to dress up like her animal and talk about it. So, here she is reporting to us about what her animal eats and where it lives. And yes, that is a garbage bag with yarn taped to it.
Silly Sisters.

Michelin Man! I love it!

FARKLE!

We enjoyed a little Farkle on Easter. Great dice game. We are kind of addicted now. Thanks for the game Amy and David.
Silly Aunt Jamie...those sunglasses belong to Landrie.

Easter Fun

Jenna had an easter egg hunt at school.
Dying easter eggs with Flat Stanley. He was here visiting from Minnesota. He was part of Cousin Brittny's school project.
Easter baskets.
The girls woke up to a note from the easter bunny. It was the first clue about where to find their baskets. They went all over...from one clue to the next.
Here they are getting clue 5 out of the fridge.
The finally found the baskets after 7 clues. They had a great time. We even re-hid them for Jamie and Phillip when they came over.

New Pics of Landrie

All smiles. We went swimming at my school over our spring break with Amy David and Sophie. Landrie had a great time. She is going to love hanging in the pool this summer. Very content just floating and splashing.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Here are the girls sporting their St. Patricks day garb.
Thanks for the shirts Shanny!
